We love creating colorful fall artwork, and this painted collage is a wonderful example.
This lovely autumn scene showcases the beautiful changing colors on a mountainside and features a touch of stylized artwork similar to what you might find on a greeting card.
To create these, we painted several blobs of fall color on a large piece of white paper. After they dried, we cut them out and used a Sharpie to decorate each one using simple patterns and designs.
We painted a colorful fall background and then placed our trees over the bottom portion of the background.
We layered and rearranged the trees to show distance and perspective. Then we glued them down.
Created by our Home School Art Club, with artists ranging in age from 5 to 15.
